Microelectronics Review is edited and published by Roy Szweda, a former Managing Editor at the world's largest science publisher, Elsevier. He arrived at the Oxford office in 1990 having previously founded and published the world's first magazine dedicated to compound semiconductors "III-Vs Review". In his seven years there he was responsible for many other publications including "Microelectronics Journal". When he left to become a freelance writer and publisher he was inspired to originate another new publication: "Microelectronics Review" which was born to exploit the potential of emailed pdf newsletters.
